Metropolitan Police have a suspect for several crimes committed in the area surrounding Georgetown throughout January, according to Metropolitan Police Officer Lt. Brian Bray.
Metro has identified a suspect for an auto break-in, Michael Kuzawinsky, a resident of the 31st block of N Street Bray said MPD believes Kuzawinsky has burglarized around 15 houses in Burleith, two of which were Georgetown students’ houses. Kuzawinsky is also believed to have broken into four cars belonging to students.
Bray described Kuzawinsky as a white male, 5’10”, 170 pounds, blue eyes. He has blondish red hair that he wears in a pony-tail and customarily wears a baseball cap.
“Once we catch him, we are hoping crime in the area will go down,” Bray said. Bray said Metro has a warrant for Kuzawinsky’s arrest and is working on locating him.
