The student area in the Village C Formal Lounge scheduled to open this fall will be delayed for an unspecified amount of time, according to Associate Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life Bethany Marlowe.
Already delayed by problems with the air conditioning and heating ventilation system, the lounge was further delayed by flood damage sustained during storms last week.
When opened, the lounge will feature a classroom for the performing arts, a lounge area with pool tables, fooseball tables, a CD jukebox and a food counter serving pretzels, milkshakes and slushies, among other items.
