The stand that once housed the bust of former Georgetown University President Edward Bunn S.J. sat empty and forlorn, tucked into its corner across from the elevators on the third floor of the ICC this week. Bunn, for his part, remains missing in action.
The disappearance of the bust occurred sometime early last week according to a campus-wide e-mail sent out on Oct. 14.
Allison Savoy-Logan, program administrator in the Office of the Provost, said that Provost James O’Donnell has not received any information in response to that e-mail.
Student information or replacement are the sole prospects for the bust’s return. If this fails, the Office of the Provost will discuss plans for replacing the bust, Savoy-Logan said.
The person or persons currently in possession of the missing president were encouraged by the Provost to make the bust reappear in any convenient place around campus.
