Monday, 4/3

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Blood on the Wall; 9:30 Club

Widely known for their live performances, partly due to front-woman Karen O.’s over-the-top stage presence, the indie-punk Yeah Yeah Yeahs return with an eagerly awaited U.S. tour—we were so eager that the show sold out not long after going on sale.

Saturday, 4/8

Voxtrot and Irving; Riverside Lounge, New South

Georgetown’s own WGTB Radio is hosting the newly arrived, Austin-based indie pop act Voxtrot. With fluid pop melodies that should lend themselves to quickly rising popularity, the band offers something for most everybody.

Sunday, 4/9

Neko Case and Martha Wainwright; 9:30 Club

Fellow female singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright (sister of Rufus) opens for Neko Case and her gospel sound in this sold-out show.

Art Brut and the Rogers Sisters and the Robocop Kraus; Black Cat

Art Brut puts a comical twist on the recent wave of token indie bands. Garage rock trio the Roger Sisters support the band with the help of the dance-inspired Robocop Kraus.

Monday, 4/10

Ghostface Killah; 9:30 Club

Having just released his highly praised Fishscale album, former Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah is expected to be one of the most anticipated albums of the year.
