Late weekends nights are often accompanied by pangs of hunger in students’ stomachs. Brady Hiatt (SFS ‘09) plans to solve this problem by opening Mustard’s Last Stand this week, a hot dog stand located in Healy Circle. The stand will be open from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m., Thursday thru Sunday.
The idea came to Hiatt in the wee hours of the morning. He decided that students needed an on-campus vendor to alleviate post-party cravings. After contacting administration officials, he gained full university support and signed a contract with O’Donovan Dining Hall to purchase the meat, buns and condiments.
“This will be a great way to keep kids on campus late at night.” Hiatt said. “It will be the perfect pre-party, post-party antidote.”
