The Georgetown Voice takes mistakes seriously. We correct all errors of substance in our stories and publish appropriate clarifications as soon as possible.
In “Going for Glory” (Cover, March 25) we referred to Princeton Coach Joe Murtaugh as Joe Mendez. We also said that the 2003 lightweight men were the first Georgetown crew to earn a medal at the IRA Championships. An open weight four actually earned a silver medal in 2000. Coxswain Louisa Seferis is actually SFS ‘05. Additionally, we overlooked the fact that GUST, the Georgetown sailing team, won the sailing national title in 2001.
