  • Sports Information

    Georgetown senior guard D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera passed Brandon Bowman to move into the No. 13 spot on the all-time Georgetown scoring list. Smith-Rivera finished with 11 points.

  • Tuesday was the third all-time meeting between Georgetown and Charlotte, with the Hoyas now leading 2-1. The teams last played last year at Verizon Center, an 81-78 Georgetown win. The Hoyas are 19-7 all-time against teams from Conference USA.
  • Time Warner Cable Arena is not the regular home court for Charlotte, as Tuesday was the only the fifth game ever played by the 49ers at the home of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets. The team usually plays on campus at the Halton Arena. The 49ers ar 2-3 all-time in games played at Time Warner Cable Arena. 
  • Sightings: Georgetown legends Patrick Ewing and Sleepy Floyd.
  • For those gambling aficionados, Georgetown entered Tuesday night’s game as a 12.5-point favorite. The over/under was 150.5 points.
