For the past six years, one festival has been bringing the District’s short film lovers their heart’s desire: The DC Shorts Film Festival. Moviemaker Magazine praised the festival as “one of the leading film festivals” and “one of 20 festivals worth an entry fee.” Now, for a criminally cheap price of $10, you can enjoy a “Best Of” wrap-up of 14 films from all over the world, originally screened at last year’s festival.
So mark your calendars: The DC Shorts Film Festival returns on February 6th and 7th, which showings beginning at 7 p.m. both nights. Nab a ticket while you can—this nascent film festival is a must-see.
The “Best Of” will be screened at the U.S. Navy Memorial on 701 Pennsylvania Ave., NW.
