Pope Francis celebrated the Mass of the Canonization of Junipero Serra with over 25,000 people at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on Sept. 23. The next day, Pope Francis became the first Bishop of Rome to address a joint session of Congress.
